Wings Get Big Contributions Across the Lineup

Dallas placed five players in double figures for the ninth time this season.

Jessica Shepard added another impressive all-around performance with 19 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists, recording her league-leading 15th double-double of the season.

Li Yueru provided a major lift off the bench, finishing with a season-high 10 points and 10 rebounds for her first double-double in more than a year.

Arike Ogunbowale scored 17 points, including six of Dallas' final eight points, while Azzi Fudd chipped in 16 points and knocked down three shots from beyond the arc.

The performance marked just the third time in franchise history that three Dallas players recorded double-doubles in the same game.

Dallas Completes Season Sweep of Chicago

The victory gave the Wings a 3-0 sweep of the regular-season series against the Sky.

Dallas has now won five straight games, matching its longest winning streak since the 2023 season. Since relocating to North Texas in 2016, the franchise has recorded a five-game winning streak only four times.

Historic Night for Double-Doubles

Chicago received strong performances despite the loss.

Rookie Sydney Taylor led the Sky with 20 points, while Azurá Stevens posted 18 points and 13 rebounds. Kamilla Cardoso added 12 points and 13 rebounds for another double-double.

Combined with the three double-doubles from Dallas, the game featured five double-doubles, the most ever recorded in a regulation WNBA game.

Fourth Quarter Turns the Game Around

Chicago entered the fourth quarter with a 73-66 advantage after outscoring Dallas 33-20 in the third.

Bueckers immediately sparked the comeback, scoring Dallas' first six points of the final quarter as the Wings steadily chipped away at the deficit.

With just over three minutes remaining, a three-pointer from Fudd, followed by a basket from Shepard gave Dallas its first lead since the third quarter. Ogunbowale then delivered several key baskets and sealed the victory from the free-throw line in the closing seconds.

Wings Continue Building Momentum

Dallas shot 48% from the field, edged Chicago in three-point shooting, second-chance points, bench scoring, and fast-break points while showing resilience once again in crunch time.

The Wings will look to extend their winning streak when they host the New York Liberty on Thursday before the WNBA All-Star break, carrying plenty of momentum into one of the biggest matchups left before the league pauses for its midseason showcase.
